Meramec Elementary School

In an effort to make each student's lunch period as enjoyable as possible, we expect the students at Meramec School to follow these procedures:

-Students may speak in normal voices; loud talking and yelling is not conducive to positive social interactions.
-All students will help keep tables and floors clean by picking up their trash.  There will be student helpers from each classroom each day to assist with grade-level clean up and transition.
-Food may not be taken to the playground or to the classroom.
-Meramec students are expected to display good table manners at all times.  Food is to be eaten, not shared, traded, or thrown.
-All students are expected to demonstrate Meramec's core values of cooperation, kindness, respect, responsibility, and safety.

We are all committed to a relaxing and enjoyable lunch period.  Special lunch seating arrangements may be made if a student displays he/she needs such an adapted plan.
