Meramec Elementary School

The Meramec Character Council provides students with leadership opportunities within the school setting.  Character Council is comprised of student representatives in grades 3-5 who apply for the position and are Meramec 5 role models endorsed by staff members and supported by their fellow students.  The Meramec Character Council leads school wide character education efforts, service learning opportunities, and school spirit activities and events.  Character Council meets before school monthly and plans for and coordinates Meramec 5 assemblies.  Applications for new members are available each fall of the new school year.
