    Do you need some help guiding your teen successfully through the transition to adulthood?

    WHAT:  Staying Connected with Your Teen Parenting Class

    WHY?
    This is a proven-effective, research-based, model program that shows parents how to improve their family management practices and strengthen the bond with their teen(s), resulting in substance abuse prevention, violence prevention, and positive character development.     HOW? Mail your registration in today. The cost is $25 for the class and a book you keep.  Please also send a separate check for $40 as a deposit for your DVD. Your deposit will be returned when you return your DVD. Please make both checks out to The Community Alliance. Watch the DVD and read the chapters at times that are convenient to you. Then come to two facilitated classes to discuss the material with other parents.

    WHEN:
    We will only meet twice from 6:15 – 8:00 p.m. in the Administrative Center Rooms A and B, #2 Mark Twain Circle next to Clayton High School.
    • Tuesday, Mar. 2 to discuss Chapters 1-4
    • Tuesday, Mar. 16 to discuss Chapters 5-7
    • Please feel free to bring a sack dinner. We’ll provide fruit and coffee.

    Class sizes are limited and fill VERY quickly! Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received.
