A. Panther Pause
A school newsletter will be distributed by email to all families once each month. It will contain a calendar of events, PTO information, community activities, Glenridge School and District news, information about classroom activities and student writing. Please feel free to make suggestions regarding our newsletter.
B. Progress Reports
A report on each child's progress is provided at the end of each quarter. At the end of the first and third quarters, parent/teacher conferences are held; written reports are distributed at the end of the second and fourth quarters. When having a conference with your child's teacher it is important that you share information and/or that you ask questions. Feel free to come with your questions or comments written so you won't forget them during the discussion. Conferences at times other than end of first and third quarters may be scheduled as deemed necessary by parents or teachers.
If a non-custodial parent or parents who have joint custody of a child need an additional copy of the Progress Report, they may request in writing an additional copy by providing a current address.
C. Communicating with Teachers Throughout the Year
If you would like to contact your child's teacher, please send a note, call the office for the teacher’s voice mail or leave a message requesting the teacher return your call. We appreciate your help in not disrupting our classes during school hours.
