Hi! I'm Mrs. Fulstone and I started teaching at Wydown in 2004.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I moved to the U.S. when I was four years old and have lived in Ohio, Louisiana, Iowa, Michigan, and now, here in St. Louis.
From 2004-2015, I taught 6th grade Social Studies and Literacy. From 2015-2024, I taught Literacy on 7 East. Now I am the Literacy teacher on 8 East! I'm making my way through middle school. :)
I have a B.A. from Washington University in English Literature.
I received the remainder of my history credits from UMSL, then received an M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
A philanthropic historical organization honored me with the Missouri History Teacher of the Year award in 2013. I have also been honored by Educators for Social Justice as the Courageous Educator of the Year in 2018.
I love getting to work with middle schoolers - they are funny, adaptive, resilient, creative, and amazing young people! I look forward to meeting you!
