• Mission: 
    To provide members with information and understanding of current legislation. Discussions and findings will serve as a resource for the Board of Education, supporting its communication and advocacy efforts on legislation that may impact District stakeholders.

    Outcomes/Tasks:

    1. The Legislative Committee will gather, analyze and decipher information on potential legislation to provide the Board of Education with a thorough impact review.
    2. The Legislative Committee will review and track local, state and federal legislation that may affect the District.
    3. The Legislative Committee will provide data and information for the Board of Education.
    4. The Legislative Committee will assist the Board of Education and District in aligning Board of Education discussions with elected officials who serve district constituents.
    5. The Legislative Committee will inform the future development of a Board of Education Legislative Priorities document.
    6. The Legislative Committee will prioritize clear and effective communication with the community.

    • Monday, Feb. 3 | 4 p.m.
    • Monday, March 3 | 4 p.m.
    • Monday, March 31 | 4 p.m.

    All meetings will be held at the School District of Clayton’s Administrative Center, #2 Mark Twain Circle, Clayton, MO 63105.
