There are three categories for Spanish in PowerSchool: Assessments, Prep/Practice (which is essentially homework), and Classwork (anything that we work on/complete in class). Prep/Practice and Classwork are not weighted in the final grade. Students will receive either a check mark for completed work, an "I" for work turned in but incomplete, or "M" for work that is missing.
Assessments are 100% of the student's grade for Spanish. When looking at PowerSchool for Spanish, you will not see a grade until the end of the quarter. In order to see how your child is doing, you should click on the "Comment" section of each assessment grade. There you will see whether or not they met that standard, as well as any retake scores your child has earned.
