Mrs. Lil Puckett, Head Coach

My name is Lil Puckett.  This is my 25th year coaching volleyball.  I started coaching volleyball because of my daughter.  Her passion was contagious and we grew even closer because of this sport.  I have 3 kids who are now 36, 33 (girls)  and 25 (boy).  I grew up playing and coaching softball, but once I was introduced to volleyball, I got hooked!  Coaching volleyball quickly became my safe place.

I want to share my passion for volleyball with every boy & girl!  My teams become a part of my family.  Coaching volleyball truly changed my life.

I have very high expectations for each player.  They give 100% during every practice and tournament, they trust me and trust each other.  Inclusion and team harmony is encouraged throughout the season.  I push my players to become better volleyball players and respectable young adults.  I believe I am a teacher and an exceptional motivator.  I have watched players grow as great athletes molded into amazing young adults.

I'm very excited for the future here at CHS!  The coaches, players, and parents of our CHS family will support to ensure the success of the boys program.
