INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL THEATRE (Semester)

This is a semester course designed for students who are interested in the non-performance aspects of theatre. The focus of this class will revolve around the design aspects of putting a production together (concept, scenic, lighting, costumes, make-up, sound and more). A production portfolio will be developed throughout the semester. Introduction to Technical Theatre is a hands-on course that requires students to be self-motivated, extremely attentive to detail and thrive in a collaborative atmosphere. When possible the skills and content taught will be applied to our Wydown Theatre company productions.
