Any task that is used to "practice" something we are learning will not impact their grade because it's practice. It allows me to see where your child is on their learning journey. This will appear purple in their gradebook and marked as "Practice".
Students will be given multiple opportunities to show their growth in learning, so please remind your child that a low score can be improved. It's all part of the learning process.
Grades on assessments are not averaged out, so their latest score is what will count towards their final grade since it is a more accurate representation of what they can do.
