- Overview
-
I live with my husband Patrick, my three daughters (Stella, Gloria, and June), and our two kittens, Louis Tully and Vinz Clortho. In my free time, I love to knit, run, cook, and travel. (As you can tell by the cats’ names, I love the movie Ghostbusters.)
I have lived in Mexico and traveled throughout the Spanish-speaking world. More recently, I participated in a teacher program in Ecuador, volunteered with Global Brigades in Honduras, and traveled with my family to the Panama Canal.
My biggest goal for this class for you is to learn to communicate meaningfully in Spanish and feel confident in more advanced discussions. Part of your success in our class depends on your willingness to jump in, make mistakes, and to learn from them. I expect you to support your classmates in this as well. We are a team.
It's OK if you don't understand everything. However, the more risks you take with the language, the easier it will get. Our class is taught exclusively in Spanish, and we will hold each other accountable for that. Let’s make it a great year!
