Mr. Myron Fletcher, Boys Head Coach
Myron Fletcher wrestling coach who believes in the power of leadership through relationship. He has been leading and impacting the lives of people since 1996 when his coaching career began.
He started his journey at Hazelwood East High School as a two sport athlete. A two time state placer and one time undefeated state champion, Myron continued his wrestling career at Meramec Community College for two years. After Meramec, he received a scholarship to S.I.U. Edwardsville for wrestling. Myron was hired to coach football and wrestling at McCluer High School in the fall of 1996. There he was honored to tutor the likes of Tyron Woodley and other dynamic athletes. Also, Myron had the honor of coaching 8 seasons at Ritenour High School yielding two state champs, and a host of state placers.
Myron has coached and trained a host of D1 athletes including Jamison William, Alabama, and his own brothers Shaun Fletcher of San Jose State University, Bryan Fletcher of UCLA and Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl Champion, along with other. Coaching wrestling over the years has unequivocally afforded Myron the official opportunity to impact so many young men and women in positive life changing ways.
Myron looks forward to the next chapter at Clayton High School. He believes this team is destined for greatness with the support of parents, faculty and students.

Ms. Toccara Montgomery, Head Girls Coach
Montgomery is a former Olympic wrestler. She was the coach at the University of the Cumberlands for a combined nine years. She was a member of the 2004 United States Olympic team, placing seventh at the Athens Games. She was also a member of the national team from 2001-06 and won two United States Senior National Championships. Montgomery was a two-time silver medalist at the World Championships. In 2001, she was named the FILA International Female Wrestler of the Year, just the third American and first female from the United States to win that honor. We are honored to have her as a part of our wrestling coaching staff.

Mr. Jason Lloyd, Assistant Coach
Coach Lloyd is entering his 10th year coaching wrestling. This is his 1st year coaching at Clayton High School. His 3rd year teaching PE within the Clayton School district at Wydown Middle School. Before moving back to the St. Louis area Coach Lloyd lived in Colorado Springs, CO where he taught PE and coached both Varsity/JV football and wrestling for 9 years at Sierra High School, Vista Ridge High School, and Pikes Peak Christian School (K-12).
Coach Lloyd is an 07’ graduate of Hazelwood Central High School (GO HAWKS!) where he participated in football (left guard & defensive tackle) and wrestled (215lb). He earned his Bachelor’s in Physical Education at York College now known as York University in York, NE where he also wrestled (275lb). Coach Lloyd lives in the St. Charles County area with his wife Sara and two dogs: Zeus and Athena.
Coach Lloyd is excited about this opportunity to coach the Clayton wrestling team and looks forward to a great season. GO GREYHOUNDS!!
