LaMont Hammonds is entering his first year as the new Clayton High School Varsity Softball Head Coach.  Coach Hammonds played baseball for 3 years at Central Missouri State University, Class of 1985, before having a career-ending knee injury.  He has over 28 years of coaching experience, and joined the Clayton family in 2017.  During the summer, he coaches a select Triple A Baseball Club called the St. Louis BlueJays, established in 2005, which implements mentoring to young men and women through sports.  Coach Hammonds is looking forward to this new journey for himself and for the Clayton High School softball team.
