Mr. Sustar is in his 22nd year as a Mathematics teacher and his 10th year at Wydown Middle School. Before coming to Wydown, he taught in New York City, Colorado, Belleville, and St. Louis. He earned his BA in Music and Humanities from Providence College, an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from New York University, and an MS in Mathematics from The City College of New York. Mr. Sustar is also a National Board Certified Teacher.
Mr. Sustar and his wife Megan have five children. While not teaching, he works as a volunteer firefighter with the Signal Hill Fire Department. He also enjoys running and playing the trombone.
