Although my family is orginally from St. Louis, my childhood was spent moving all around not only the country but also the world.  I grew up as an Army Brat and lived in California, Massachusetts, and even Germany before returning back to St. Louis to attend High School and then college (MIZ-ZOU!).  But I guess I wasn't done moving because my husband and I moved to Florida shortly after college. I finished my Masters degree and taught for seven years. I taught fourth grade for 6 years and served as a math instrcutional coach for one year. In 2014, my husband and I decided to return back to our hometown and here we are. In the summer of 2018, I completed my Math Specialist Certificate through UMSL. 

In 2015, we had our first son, Roscoe. Last December, my husband and I welcomed a new addition to our family...our second son, Wilder!  Being a mother has been amazing, challenging, and rewarding. We also have two dogs, Charley and Louis!   On the weekends we all like to go running in different parks around the area, go to Cardinal games, play board games, read, eat Imo's Pizza, or just sit around and do nothing (although that is much harder now with two young boys).  

I LOVE teaching 4th grade!  These kids are so full of life and have an amazing energy about them. I love challaneging them to think deeper and push themselves on a daily basis.  I look forward to another awesome year!
